Autism Support Group



Starting on February 8, 2011, South Bay Early Intervention will be facilitating "Putting the Pieces Together" a support group for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and others touched by autism. The group will meet at the library every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM. Some meetings will feature guest speakers. This Week in the Children's Department

Winter Mother Goose on the Loose starts this Tuesday, January 11th. We are offering two sessions, one at 10 AM and one at 11:15 AM. So that we can accomodate everyone we ask that patrons choose one session to attend.

Winter Preschool Storytimes (for age 3 +) starts this Wednesday, January 12th at 10:30 AM.

January Lego Club meets on Saturday, January 15th at 9:30 AM.

Winter Mother Goose and Preschool Storytimes




Winter Mother Goose on the Loose storytimes start up on Tuesday, January 11th and runs through February 15th. We will have two identical sessions each Tuesday at 10 AM and 11:15 AM. So that we can accommodate everyone we ask that patrons choose one session to attend. We appreciate your cooperation!

Winter Preschool Storytimes begin on Wednesday, January 12th and run through Wednesday, February 16th. Preschool Storytimes are at 10:30 AM and are for children age 3 and older.

New Staff Member!


The Children's Department has a new addition! Lori Eldred has recently joined us as the new Children's Librarian, taking over Kari Hammond's old position. So if you see a new face in the department, it's Lori.

Winter and Spring Programs!

South Bay Early Intervention will be conducting various programs at the library this winter and through the spring. Although these programs are conducted by South Bay staff, the programs are free and open to the public. All programs do require sign up.
