A Very Busy Week!

We sure have had a very busy week here in the Children's Department (and it's not done yet - we still have storytime tomorrow morning at 10 AM!)

On Thursday the library participated in the state's "Library Snapshot Day."  As part of the event we offered a drop-in craft where kids decorated their own picture frames.

On Friday we had our last session of Library Club.  This session featured puppeteer Sparky Davis who not only treated us to some wonderful and funny puppet shows but we got to make our own popsicle stick puppets.

For Special Needs Families

We are working on creating more programs specifically for Special Needs Families.  Please help us by taking time to answer a quick survey.  You can get to the survey through our ASD blog although we are looking for input from ALL Special Needs families, not just ASD families.  Thank you in advance for your help!

April is Autism Awareness Month

April is Autism Awareness Month.  To show how Autism touches us all, we are taking a poll, in the library and online.  We ask, "How many people do you know on the Autism Spectrum?"  The poll is to the left of the screen.  We look forward to hearing from you!
