Summer Reading Kick Off Event was a Success!

We had a magical evening at the Summer Reading Kick Off Event with our special guest, Mr. Tommy James.  We learned about the magic of reading and saw some AMAZING magic tricks.  The magician made the Velveteen Rabbit turn into a real bunny, made flowers appear from thin air to create our own Secret Garden, and Charlotte the spider from Charlotte's Web spun a very special message for the audience: READ!

Children can sign up for the 2012 Summer Reading programs at the Children's Reference Desk.  This week we are having our annual 4th of July celebration.  If you have any questions about the Summer Reading programs, please don't hesitate to call or ask for us in the Youth Services Department.

Dream Big: READ!
