"Sleep Over at the Library"

We had a terrific time at our library "sleep over." Before we tucked our cuddly friends into bed we had a bedtime storytime. Some things we did: we made a graph about what we do to get ready for bed, we played some bedtime games, rocked our cuddly friends to sleep, and did a special dance so that they would have good dreams. I don't know about our cuddly friends, but we were exhausted!
The next morning we returned to pick up our cuddly friends from their sleepover and to share breakfast.

April is Autism Awareness Month

In recognition of Autism Awareness month the library has planned some events:

On Saturday, April 2nd at 10:30 AM there is a storytime for special needs families. All are welcome!

April's quick question is, "How many people (adult or child) do you know on the Autism Spectrum? Patrons can participate in the library by putting a sticker on the question poster or online. To the left of this posting is the online survey. We hope everyone will participate. Let's show Lowell how many friends with Autism are in our community and how many people are touched by Autism.

In addition we put up an Autism Awareness display.
